Bilboats
Enjoy Bilbao’s present by listening to its history and industrial past while taking a boat ride along the estuary.
The Bilbao estuary has become the hub of the city’s urban and tourist development. From the boat, thanks to an audio guide, you’ll learn about the vestiges of an industrial past, the shipyards where ships were built and launched into the estuary, and the factories and steel mills that exported their goods around the world on large cargo ships.
During the ride, you’ll witness the redevelopment of abandoned areas following industrial conversion and the construction of new iconic buildings such as the Guggenheim or San Mamés, the football stadium, as well as new recreational areas and residential developments on its banks, which have turned the city into a world-renowned tourist destination and shaped a new lifestyle for its inhabitants.

Opinions
It was an incredible experience. We booked for the Bilbao festivities so we could see the fireworks from the estuary, and it was spectacular. It's definitely an experience I'll repeat. I loved being able to go along the estuary at night, and then the atmosphere of the fireworks, and then the party atmosphere at night and the atmosphere on the boat were fantastic. It's an experience I'd recommend. I'm definitely planning a daily visit, and I will.

We really enjoyed the tour. We took the two-hour route to reach the Bizkaia Bridge, and it was worth it. The crew was super friendly, the estuary was explored with an audio guide throughout, and we were able to see Bilbao's iconic buildings and landmarks from a privileged perspective. Recommended!

The Guggenheim and San Mamés are very beautiful (perhaps more so the former), without detracting from the other new and old buildings on both banks. On the way out, the best views are mainly from the stern, while on the way back, the best views are from the bow. The customer service is exceptional. We were arriving late, and they contacted us and gave us the option to change the time (it was possible that day). So, in that sense, hats off! They also have coloring sheets for the kids, so highly recommended.
